Re: Nice Ice

Didn't see it coming but I like it... the world and the ice are simply beautiful, and these videos about making them are somehow very fascinating even though I don't do such things myself.

Re: Multiplayer Released! (v1.0.5)

This is so great. When Anniversary Edition was released, it kind of felt like a Deja Vu to be again roaming Amethyst Mountain all alone. In a better view than ever though! Yet multiplayer is a little bit different experience every time and so keeps one coming back. There aren't too many players thou...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes/Future Updates

Sorry if this has already been said. I really like to play with the fur colours, and gladly we have a lot of coats to choose from. However, I'd like to suggest a new shade slider, a color><grey one. It would add a bunch of new looks without having to create new coats. I thought of this today when I ...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes/Future Updates

- Photo mode: Those markers and symbols (marker of mate, bite symbol on prey, dispersal hearts etc. etc.) should be gone when in photo mode... I just noticed that they don't end up in the final screenshot which is a huge relief but still while taking the photo they're kinda in the way always. A very...

Re: Taking damage, doing damage

Patience is key; it is a good idea to keep an eye on the mother at all times and wait for an opening. I typically find my wolf can only hang on to the calf long enough to damage it 1-3 times before the mother returns. The priority should be avoiding her hooves, as they deal some serious damage. Onc...

Taking damage, doing damage

Now I'm not the quickest person ever to learn stuff like this in games so maybe it's a silly question but I must know. How exactly does the damage point system work in WolfQuest 3 ? So far it has appeared pretty random but then again there must be reasons for the damage given and taken changing tho ...

Re: Has anyone seen a potential mate that is grey and white or pure white in WolfQuest 3?

I have been searching a white or grey-white dispersal forever... After going around the map and many dispersals I started to notice the same ones appearing I think. So I started killing them off - but still no luck. I would like to know how the dispersals "work", do they get random features, are the...

WQ3 loading screen takes forever?

Now I have never in my life seen such beautiful nature images, especially in a game's loading screen, but uh this has taken a while... I am trying the game for the first time with a gaming laptop I got today. It has all the "recommended" specs. So is this supposed to happen or is something wrong? I ...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes/Future Updates

I don't have a lot of time to spent on the forum anymore, but just came here to post some thoughts that I hatched for a while during playing 2.7. I think they'd make sense in the new game too. :) Seeing ping of the servers People from all around the world play WolfQuest. To be honest I'm not sure ho...

Re: Common Themes for Wolf/Wild Animal Fiction?

Oh and Wolf's Rain, how could I forget about Kiba! He is sort of a leader and definitely the chosen one leading others to Paradise... in a way anyway. What is the Hollow ? (Edit: Found it, I'll read it soon.) This Wikipedia topic is an interesting read about conflicting attitudes in the 20th century...

Re: How Much Time Do YOU Spend on WQ? (Poll)

I played lots a while ago... sometimes the whole day sometines "just" for hours. Now I haven't played at all... and probably wont until Wolfquest 3. I guess 2.7 just isn't enough for me anymore after seeing the dev blog videos.

Re: Common Themes for Wolf/Wild Animal Fiction?

Jack London's Whitefang was a seriously cool book to read, not so much because of the wolf/wolfdog's story but the way Jack London describes the world, people and nature especially... I read it in finnish but I'm pretty sure the experience wasn't too different. Maybe I liked it because it is so old ...
