Re: Courtship?
I believe that you need to show that you are not going to be aggressive towards the wolves before you can enter the main courtship, otherwise they don't let you get close to them. A couple of play bows tail wags and grins should do the trick.

Re: Has anyone seen a potential mate that is grey and white or pure white in WolfQuest 3?
I don't know about white wolves in the game but the gray and white wapiti might be a reference to the Wapiti White Female who is the main breeding female in the pack and is one of the original pack founders, (the other is 755M,) but generally speaking a wolf having the genome that makes them truly w...

Re: Wolfquest 3 screeshots and accounts
Hey Lamar! You can take screenshots by entering photo mode and pressing spacebar, or (if using the Steam version of the game) by pressing f12. You can also capture your whole screen by pressing the print screen key (may be labeled "prt scr"). To access print screen images you will need to paste the...

Re: Hunting Elk in Wolfquest 3
To really hunt elk well use the camera lock, thats been a life saver. Hunting elk for me personally is that its quite easy whose you've locked on and got a couple of bites on it. I have not gone after a moose for safety reasons but I've taken down mule deer as a lone wolf and they're really easy I h...

Wolfquest 3 screeshots and accounts
I have two questions, first how do you take screenshots in wolfquest 3 and also can you log onto your account in wolfquest because that button to get to the point where you log on isn't showing up?

Scientist estimate that about 2 million wolves used to roam North America, but due to heavy hunting trapping a poisoning wolves were almost wiped out.

Re: Most irritating animal misconceptions
My goodness. I just read through all of these posts and some of these drove me right up the wall. And I see two people (The Chemist and elkhunter123456) pointed out ostriches can't bury their heads. I have had ostriches and NONE of them have buried their heads, though I will admit to having believe...

I'm fine that the wolves won't be imported. I do have one question will we need to make new in game accounts or will those transfer.

Re: Looking Forward, Looking Back
Looking back wolfquest has been great for me from a player's stand point, and looking forward I can see it will be better. Thanks for all the work you've put into the game and I'm excited for the released next week.

Re: Nonfiction Wolf Book Discussion
I guess the only nonfiction book about wolves that I have read parts of is the 2003 "Wolves: Behaviour, Ecology, and Conservation" one that pops up a lot on this forum. I never did finish summarizing the chapters of it. That was an overly ambitious project :P ! I haven't read that book, but if you ...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread
Chulyin Chulyin's eyes opened as he caught a whiff of freshly killed elk on the wind. He trotted off in the direction of the smell, as grew closer he picked up the scent of something that put him on edge, other wolves. Could this a wolf pack's territory, should I turn around now or see if I could g...

Re: Common Themes for Wolf/Wild Animal Fiction?
I've read Wolves of the Beyond, Firstborn, Whitefang, and many others, (I read all of the fiction books with wolf protagonist in the library.) Now in Call of the Wild (and Whitefang) a dog joining a wolf pack is more acceptable because in that time period the dogs where more wild, but there are seve...
