Re: Jackals
But... nobody would give a fig about them if they weren't called "wolves". :( I'm guessing that's why they renamed the once critically endangered cuberow "Ethiopian wolf" (which is further removed from true wolves than the golden jackal is, but that's covered in another thread...) There are already...

Re: Restesting DNA yielded 2nd wolf in Newfoundland
This is amazing news. Hopefully, some of the wolves they find there will have the DNA of the extinct Newfoundland wolf subspecies and then they won't be extinct anymore.

She helps me kill elk if she's there with me when I'm chasing an elk and she feeds our pups.

Re: Hunt or Scavenge?
I do both. I hunt when I can,but when I'm having trouble catching the elk and can't find any rabbits to hunt, then I'll scavenge for dead discarded elk carcasses. I usally end up scavenging more than hunting though because it's easier.

Re: Do genders really matter?
I don't really care about someone's gender when playing the game. Though in certain cases, it would be nice to be able to say simple things like "she", "he", "him" , and "her" when talking in multiplayer like if I'm playing a private game with one of my friends and am trying to tell them a story abo...

If I was in charge of Wolf Quest, I would have made it have: In muliplayer: -Free chat with very limited filter. Only censors out curse words and other really bad or inappropiate words like that. -Actually mmo. You don't have to make a private or public game room where you can only have like 5 peopl...

Re: What pack is worse? Specimen, Slough or Druid?
Although I'm usually submissive and don't fight any of the stranger wolves I run into, I'd have to say Druids. When I had the mission to meet stranger wolves, I met 3 Druids (2 males and a female) and all were very aggressive and unfriendly even when I acted submissive towards them, telling me to "Ge...

Re: What are your techniques for hunting elk?
I pick a female elk that doesn't have full health and then I attempt to led her back to my den so my mate can help me kill her,but that usually doesn't work. So, I chase her until she either goes into deep water and so I can attack her there or until she gets stuck by a tree. The tree is better beca...

Re: Cattle Ranches Helpful or Not
It's not helpful but not unhelpful for me. It's just kinda....there. I don't really ever use it. I can find plenty of already killed discarded elk carcasses to scavenge off to get food for myself and my pups. Also, the rabbits are really easy to catch as well just to get food for myself. Too bad thos...
