Re: UPROAR:Animal Planets Big Effort on Big Cats

I've heard about this UPROAR Animal Planet thing. I've been wanting to donate a bit for a while, but never got the chance.

And I've heard The Last Lions was a really touching movie, am I right? I'd love to see the movie, I just have no idea where I could get it.

Re: General Owl Discussion

Ooh, I love owls. They're amazing animals and one of the most interesting birds out there. I don't know too much about owls, but I have an interest in them.
(Even though I don't know too much, Kivia's posts on this topic have educated me quite a bit. Thankss x3)

Re: [] Forests, Cliffs, or Plains? []

I will usually hang around the cliffs and almost always will I claim my den in SP at Aspen Heights. I'm not sure why, maybe its because I like to see the (amazing) graphical view of Slough Creek. x3 Although I do like to hide in the forests on multiplayer. Again, not sure why, but I just feel attra...

Re: Do you act like a wolf in real life?

I don't act like a wolf anymore.. But I used to when I was in elementary school. My friends and I would always run around on the field like wolves. Howling, barking, pretending to eat animals and hunt. We made little beds out of the grass (which were surprisingly comfortable) and there was this one...

Re: How can we get the word out about WQ?

I feel so proud of myself. I told my science student teacher about WolfQuest, and today at lunch she told me she loved it. Too bad it was her last day. Now I have to tell my real science teacher and we could probably do it during our ecology club... yeah... Ooh, great way to get the word out. I mig...

Re: Your Best Experience With A Wild Animal?

A wolf encounter? Luckyyy. The best experience with a wild animal is when I was in Australia. My grandparents live (way) out in the middle of no where in Australia and they feed all of the native birds there on their porch. So there is this one bird, it had pinkish white feathers and it was very pr...

Re: The world's view on wolves today

Absolutely, there is plenty of more room for improvement. And the people that live around wolves could be kind of annoyed at them because if they have a cattle ranch or something, the wolves might hunt the cattle down. Making the farmers extremely angry at the wolves. I see how those farmers could ...

Re: The world's view on wolves today

The public's attitude towards wolves has improve dramatically over the last 100 years however there's always room for improvement . "State Postpones Wolf Control"

Spotted this article and thought I might share it, so I posted it here. The state has postponed an aerial wolf control program planned for two villages about 200 miles northwest of Fairbanks. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game says the program for Allakaket and Alatna is being postponed because...
