Re: Deer - Graceful and Majestic

There are lots of mule deer where I live. I've often seen them make bounding jumps where all four feet leave the ground. They are beautiful animals.

Re: Fight or Flight?

I've noticed that a stranger wolf that says "Make my day" will usually fight to the death. A wolf that says "What's up" or "Who are you looking at" will submit eventually. I keep this in mind when I have a wolf who is not particularly strong. So it depends on which wolf I am fighting.

Re: [] Forests, Cliffs, or Plains? []

I prefer cliffs and water, I can get some great screeshots there. If my wolf has a lot of speed, I like racing up and down cliffs with my mate.

Re: Favourite Time of Day in WolfQuest

My favorite time of day is dusk, that's when I do most of my hunting and searching for mates. I also like the night, you can get some great screenshots that time of day.

Re: Which animal is the most fun to hunt?

I'd say probably the bull elk, because it's a challenge to hunt.

Re: Bears, Coyoties, Hawks, Wolves -Which one?

Coyotes are the most annoying, they are relatively easy to deal with, but show up all the time. I find the eagle hardest to deal with - it doesn't go away and you have to wait for the right moment to drive it off.

Re: How many pups did you have after you finished SC?

The first time I played I was at the Bison Peak Den. Three pups survived and the other was carried off by an eagle.

Re: "Promise of the Wolves" by Dorothy Hearst

I've read the first two books in the series. Promise of the Wolves was actually how I found out about WolfQuest in the first place.

I'd be the Golden Eagle, circling around and waiting for the right moment to swoop down on the prey.

Re: Amethyst Mountain | Do you stay or leave?

After finding a mate, usually I stay around Amethyst Mountain for a while. I hunt elk with my mate and then go into Slough Creek to find a den.
