Re: Have you killed stranger wolves?
You can kill some Specimen and Slough wolves; most of them keep fighting for a long time. What I was saying is that there is one passive wolf in both of those territories, and he will say, "I'm no threat to you," or "I'm not boss" before you can attack him. So you can't kill those two wolves. I thi...

Re: What's your favourite thing to do in multiplayer games?
In multiplayer, I like playing on moose hunting servers best, since it's difficult in SP to kill a bull moose. With more wolves around, hunting moose becomes a fun challenge without being frustrating.

Re: Have you killed stranger wolves?
I've actually killed a few Specimen males, before they could run away. Sloughs are also easy to kill. You can kill some Specimen and Slough wolves; most of them keep fighting for a long time. What I was saying is that there is one passive wolf in both of those territories, and he will say, "I'm no ...

Re: Have you killed stranger wolves?
I've noticed that whether your wolf is a male or female has an impact on stranger wolf encounters. The female stranger wolves are more aggressive to other females than towards males, and most of the male wolves are more aggressive towards other males. So if you're fighting the druid female with a fe...

Injured dominant wolves
This question is for writing a story. I have read accounts of wolves feeding badly injured pack members. My question is what happens when the injured wolf is a breeding adult, and what happens if both breeding adults are injured. If the dominant male or female wolf in a wolf pack becomes sick or inj...

Look for the mule deer and bighorn sheep and find out how to best attack them and how strong they are.

Re: FAQs about WolfQuest 3: Anniversary Edition
I bought the game around the time of the 2.7 update, so I am looking forward to the free update when it comes. I plan on buying the Tower Fall episode as well. That will definitely be more challenging with a 49 square kilometer map instead of a 2 square kilometer one. Thanks for all the work you put...

Re: Feeling Territorial
I'm really looking forward to the new version of Wolfquest and buying the next episode! You have a lot of good updates and new features for the game. Would the packs in Amethyst Mountain be the same in the new version, or will we have different stranger wolves with different levels of aggression? (S...

I really like the design for the older pup, and it will be fun to see it implemented into the game.

Re: The Fate of the Mate
I think that would add an extra challenge to the game. I have a concern that this feature would alter the hunting dynamics. If the mate died permanently, it would make hunting large prey like bull elk and bull and cow moose even more dangerous and risky than it is. How would you be able to hunt thes...

Re: Cleverer Coyotes
In Wolfquest 2.5, if your wolf attacked a coyote you would lose a small amount of health. Also, if you came within biting range of one in SP with a mate, the mate would chase after the coyote and kill it. In 2.7, you can attack coyotes without losing any health, but your mate will not help you. I'm ...

Re: Things that Happen in Public Games with Phrase Chat
I've hosted a public game where one player's wolf entered the game, froze in place and was glitched a few feet up in the air. The wolf stayed in the same place and did nothing during the game. This meant we couldn't rally successfully and I couldn't kick the player out either. It was very weird and ...

Lounging Cougar Locations
I've seen the lounging cougar on top of a rock or other platform at different locations throughout Lost River, Slough Creek, and Amethyst Mountain. I know there's one in close proximity to most of the den sites, if not all of them. While I'm aware that you can't get experience points from them, they...

Re: What nicknames do you have for the NPCs?
I like to use names that start with the same letter of the animal's name. In addition to Corey and Carey for the cougars, I have a nickname for the other NPC cougar. He's the one who doesn't attack your wolf but just stands on a boulder and snarls and hisses at you. I call him Camillo.

Okay, that's fine, I wasn't clear on how I should post if I wanted to add something to a previous comment. I know what to do now.
