Current Multiplayer Problems

Just a bump to let you all know that 2.5.1 multiplayer seems to be down again, and that the thread has once again been temporarily stickied until the server comes back online. 2.7 is unaffected.

The first post has been updated to accommodate both versions' online status.

So you haven't been able to play multiplayer for nearly a year? That definitely sounds like an issue somewhere on your end rather than WolfQuest server issues. What version of the game are you using, and what error message do you get when you attempt to play multiplayer? Keep in mind that the 2.5 multiplayer server seems to be having issues right now.

@ARMYIST: As it doesn't exactly sound like an issue caused by multiplayer, please make sure you have read the WolfQuest FAQs, since this thread is primarily about the servers' uptime and/or downtime. More specifically, this thread for information about creating an account, this topic for information about finding and claiming your key or this thread if your key does not work. i can not log in anymore to access Multiplayer and i know i'm using the correct User/ Password
-> Version should be the current one as i was just playing yesterday
-> trying to reset password is not working as i can not send an Email (Button to send is not working)

-> out of ideas what to do.. :/

Apologies if this issue is already been addressed, or if this isn't supposed to be in here, but I was wondering if anyone else was having difficulties entering servers. Whenever I click on a multiplayer server to enter, it loads for just a bit and then there's a pop up saying that my game has crashed. I thought that it was just my connection at first so I restarted my router and computer, but it keeps on coming up with the same thing. And just so you know, I do have the 2.7 version. (:

The current problem with 2.5 multiplayer should be fixed now. However, it won't last forever. We've been using Unity's own Master Server since the start of WolfQuest, and that's very old and outdated software now, so they expect to shut it down at some point. Don't know if that'll be in a month or in two years, but at some point for sure. (And whenever that is, 2.5 multiplayer will have long outlived anyone's expectations!)

Just did a quick test and can confirm that 2.5's multiplayer seems to be back in action. I also went ahead and added an update to the first post regarding the future of the old free game's online services.

Whenever I try to play multiplayer on 2.7, I get a connection error. I am perfectly able to connect to another games, websites, etc. but wolf quest just isn't working. I tried turning off my firewall but it didn't help at all. Any advice?

Sometimes when I join a public game, it doesn't show anyone, even me, and I can't move.

Hello everyone. I logged on this morning to my WQ and wanted to start a multiplayer game but the text chat option was no longer available. Is this an oversight for everyone or is this just something to do with mine? You are welcome to take a look. My username is siennatrem. Thank you.
